An incredible opportunity to paint at a remote farm just outside of Dubois Wyoming. I loved the dry, arid look and feel of the texture and light. The contrast of the lines and temperatures, the fine areas and the larger masses. This painting was done in transparent watercolour without the use of any opaque colours or white paint. I preserved the textured highlights thourgh multiple layers of alternating glazing with paint and masking fluid.
