I was mesmerized by the photo my wife took of this Mennonite farm as the last burst of sunlight fades from the sky. This farm is only a few miles from our home and is located on a very narrow road with scattered Mennonite farms only. I have been wanting to paint this farm for years but the farmers don’t want anyone on their property and the road is to narrow to stop and paint on. So, I am thrilled how this photo-based painting turned out.
