I created this plein air of Zion at the first snowdrop of this winter. A good little scramble into this pocket got me mere yards away from a gorgeous buck, who seemed unbothered while I walked on by to paint. This is created on another of my maple plywood panels that I cut ready to go for those panoramic style scenes that I just love to paint.
