Closing Up Shop

I was honored to be one of 30 artists/poets/videographers chosen to record the retired Blue Heron paper mill before it would be gentrified as an art center, hotel, restaurant, etc. Entering this massive room took my breath away. No lights, water, it was cold and damp. But a charcoal artist and I were compelled to paint here. There were no workers, I added them for the story.
