I've always enjoyed exploring the theme of motherhood in painting, whether through my own personal experience or that of my friends and family. I find endless inspiration from my own life, and from art history through the paintings of Mary Cassatt and other trailblazers like her. The models in this breastfeeding piece are my sister in law and her sweet baby boy.
