A view to heaven

I absolutely love this view from Chattooga Belle Farm in South Carolina. It's an hour from our home, a favorite place to visit and enjoy the mountain view. My husband brought a book to read and sat near me as I painted. I sat next to him for a short break in painting and a breeze knocked over the easel, breaking the glass palette. It was interesting, but still fun finishing the painting while trying not to get glass in the paint. I NOW know to anchor the easel with my backpack, lesson learned. It was a hot sunny day and this was already my second painting so when I finished we headed home and the next day changed out the broken glass.
