Morning Wetlands

Living in the foothills of the Virginia Blue Ridge Mountains, I am always inspired by the seasonal colors and lush landscapes of the Piedmont.
This peaceful scene was inspired during a morning walk outside my home. This wetland area is fed by a small stream, and it's often teeming with wildlife from wood ducks to blue herons.
