Forest meadow

The painting was made in a wilderness where I painted for 13 years.
It was created as a rest between working on large paintings.
It was love at first sight, the place had such charm that I just had to paint it.

The weather was perfect, the painting went quickly, without any problems, I tryied to keep it simple, so I wasn't sure if it was finished.
I know now that this was one of the moments when everything came together perfectly.

8 years later drought and storm of the meadow changed beyond recognition. Then I painted it again.
