Inspired by my aunt who had a stroke and now resides in a nursing home. She is learning to stand and take a few steps again with assistance. Her son is an airline pilot so we devised an elaborate escape plan with jet fuel in her wheelchair while she is well camouflaged on the bridge amongst the trees with her pilot goggles and hair tips on fire! This painting brings her much laughter and pleasure to gaze at daily in her room.
