Golden hour

My creation has the same name as this magical and ephemeral moment of the day that I love: "Golden hour". I was walking in the paths of the magnificent nature park Les Forestiers-de-Saint-Lazare (Quebec), when the sun began to approach the horizon. A succession of visual changes in the landscape began; the intensity of direct light was reduced, giving way to a warm and diffuse light. The shadows lengthen and the colors temporarily take on a golden hue.

It seems as if nature wants to stop time for a few moments, hoping to show us its best features. Each little piece of vegetation touched by the rays is suddenly highlighted, lit up as if it were the central point of a show, offering us its full potential. The forest then takes on a luminous appearance, giving off a captivating and fairy-tale atmosphere.

Through my wooded universe, I hope to encourage people to live in connection with nature, and especially to respect it. An awareness that we are all interrelated to this grandiose nature, which can bring us so many benefits.
