Watercolor on Arches 140 lb Cold Press. Jackson is a beautiful white horse with a playful personality. When he is in his stall he is docile and then when you take him out he is full of life and personality. I layered each brush stroke with a subtle darker tone then the next and slowly built up the layers of texture and hair. I want the viewer to be able to feel the hair without touching it.
