This piece celebrates self-awareness as a fundamental part of mental health and wellness. The juxtaposition of the figure's b&w portrait to her abstract, colorful and texture rich body represents the depth within the individual that moves and flows behind the often silent face. This figure stands cloaked in her new reality, aware and confident in the fabric of her own evolving truth.
