This is liquitex heavy body on gessobord. It was begun on site and finished in the studio. I was driving around, one sunny afternoon, scouting out subject matter and found a perfectly set little dirt parking lot off the main road amidst the rolling farmlands of Washington County NY, about 30 minutes from where I live. I took a bunch of photos, liked this POV the best and came back a couple days later to set up and paint.
