Sunset by the Hudson River

This is a scene from Billings Lawn in Fort Tryon Park, uptown Manhattan. The sun is setting on this beautiful August day. Sit in the right spot and you'll witness the trees opening up a portal to the other side. It's one of the more magical spots of the park; a beloved picnicking site for most of the year, it turns into the local sledding hill in the winter.
