The sky is always an inspiration for me when painting a painting. I say that if there are no clouds the scene is not worth painting. I get much of my subject matter from where I live, on the DelMarVa Peninsula, the ocean, the trees, the roads. the people, and the flowers. I have come to love painting in waterbased oil paints. I love mixing colors.
