Ocean's Tapestry

Coalescing the brightly colored blue-ringed octopus with the translucent box jellyfish in a yin-yang dynamic interaction, two of the ocean's most deadly marine animals are meticulously intertwined in a way that also showcases their beauty and elegance.

Using watercolor, the light source angling through the surface of the sea, I created a blue ocean wash from light to dark, which also shows through the jellyfish bell. I carefully worked in the twists and turns of the octopus arms and jellyfish tentacles, wrapping gracefully around themselves and each other, flowing with the ocean currents.
