Three Oaks. 2nd Avenue & River Road, Melbourne Beach, FL. I painted this plein air piece over two separate morning sessions. The second session was really tough- a 17 mph southeast wind (I struggled to support this giant canvas the entire time to keep it from being whisked into the river) and my tripod kept slipping (really need a new tripod), but just like these ancient oaks, I persevered!
